Susan is a Senior Partner and Founder of NorthStar Strategies. She has 30 years of experience across marketing management, advertising, and consulting on brand and marketing strategy. This breadth of background and experience has shaped her into a strategic thinker, innovator and strong communicator. Susan reaches solutions quickly and deliberately when dealing with the most demanding strategic issues. She is relentless in applying her formal disciplined analytical skills to each client’s challenges.

Prior to founding NorthStar Strategies, Susan was Director of Strategy at Envision managing consulting assignments for Fortune 500 clients. Susan led the core business definition, global expansion planning and European launch for Allstate. She spearheaded the global brand strategy assignment for Kellogg which redefined their cereal category management, brand architecture and brand positioning. She drove the consumer segmentation and brand strategy for the Quaker Snacks Division and redefined the Amoco Oil convenience store strategy. She held brand management positions at Quintessence, A.H. Robins and Brown and Williamson and was Agency Vice President and Management Representative at McCann Erickson.

Susan has a BA in Anthropology and Behavioral Studies from Vassar College and an MBA in Strategic Planning from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
